New Mexico, USA
Education Majors ONLY

This trip is designed for Elementary or Secondary Education Majors. Students can expect to work closely with Native American k-12 students from 13 tribal backgrounds in two local Christian schools, go on hikes with local guides, eat a traditional Navajo meal, take a jeep tour of a local Canyon, and experience numerous demonstrations of Native Culture. Also, we will explore the vast local flea market (a cultural experience on its own!) and other local treasures of nearby Gallup New Mexico!

*Notice: Due to the unique nature of this trip, you will not be admitted to the trip until your application has been reviewed by one of the trip leaders. After you apply, you will receive confirmation that you have been admitted to the trip or that you have been put on the waitlist shortly. Spots in each classroom setting (e.g., elementary, middle school, high school) in Rehoboth are limited and, hence, each applicant is reviewed first to make sure we have an even distribution of majors across the classroom settings. *

Peru
Grad Counseling ONLY

The graduate counseling program is offering a cultural immersion experience to Peru to meet the requirements for CPY 6500 Social and Cultural Issues. Students will visit Cusco and experience highlights such as Machu Picchu, one of the Seven Wonders of the World. Students will also have the opportunity to serve a local community within Peru, engaging with Peruvians and learning about their culture, mental health needs, and perspectives.

Hungary

Costa Rica
BIO 2190 Class Participants ONLY

The Costa Rican healthcare system is very different than the US healthcare system, and this trip will allow students to dive deep into a comparison of the two (and generally discuss different healthcare systems around the world). This cross-cultural field experience requires enrollment in the 1 or 0 credit class BIO 2190, Healthcare Systems in the US, during the Spring B session immediately prior to their Costa Rican exploration.

2. Your application will be processed, and you will be sent a reservation email to make a $250 deposit in the Student Services Hub within 2 business days.
