Who We Are
The Institute for Global Studies (IGS) serves as Grace College's gateway to the world! Our goal is to help students gain cross-cultural comprehension. The IGS wants to ensure that our students experience different cultures and traditions that will help them better understand and engage with the world around them.
Through global connections, the IGS allows students, staff, and faculty to use these opportunities to spread the love and words of God. As Galatians 3:28 says, “There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is no male and female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus.”
The world is full of beauty from God’s creation; therefore, we believe that it is important for our students to go explore different parts of the world and admire those creations.
Moreover, cross-cultural experience is one of the characteristics that employers are looking for when hiring. Having this experience on their resume will help students stand out from the crowd.
