A Key Piece to Our Curriculum

A unique part of the Grace Core is the cross-cultural field experience (CCFE).

Go Encounter trips are just one way to meet the CCFE requirement. Throughout the year, students go on 7-14 day trips led by Grace staff & faculty to step into a new culture, develop new perspectives, and be transformed.

How to Register

1.Complete the application online by the designated due date.

2. Your application will be processed, and you will be sent a reservation email to make a $250 deposit in the Student Services Hub within 2 business days.

Croatia

From the bustling modern city of Athens, including its ancient sites such as the Acropolis, Areopagus, and nearby Corinth, to the port city of Heraklion on the isle of Crete, engage in Greek culture by encountering its friendly and lively people, enjoying its delicious food (and learning to prepare it!), visiting its exciting markets, learning about its history, mythology, art, and ancient wonders, and experiencing contemporary expressions of Christianity by visiting Greek Orthodox churches and attending an Evangelical church service.

This Go Encounter trip to Italy will take you to Spoleto, an ancient city that has an incredible history, a beautiful Duomo (basilica), and authentic Italian culture that you will experience firsthand. The Balkans
